Grain in Ear(Mangzhong) – the Beginning of Midsummer, Busy Sowing Hope

Grain in Ear, also known as Mangzhong in Chinese, is the 9th of the 24 solar terms in the traditional Chinese calendar. It usually falls around June 5th, marking the midpoint between the summer solstice and the beginning of summer.
